Situated on the North Eastern Slopes of the Cnicht Mountain, Llyn Adar is not very accessible and involves a 1½ to 2 hours walk from Tan y Grisiau.
Nevertheless it is well worth the visit and situated amongst marvellous scenery, trout up to 2lbs are regularly caught.
